Henry finally settled himself down at his computer and he started digging. He would have been doing a better job of it if Frank hadn’t insisted on staying on the desk, which was… thoroughly distracting. It actually wasn’t so much that Frank insisted. It was just that Henry hadn’t felt bold enough to own up to how awkward his current condition made things.Never mind that Frank had been hungry, and Henry had to carefully portion out tiny bits of meat and water. Tiny, tiny portions. Frank was drinking from a bottle cap. That alone had been surreal enough.

“I mean it,” Henry assured. “A cat could be a genuine threat to you right now. Let alone all of Norman Osborn’s Thunderbolts. You are not going anywhere.” Henry paused, and he felt meek again. “At least until you can walk right.”Frank took his time before responding, each second dragging out too long for Henry’s liking, before he nodded his head. “All right,” he muttered.Henry felt a wave of relief, one so strong it seemed to short out his better reasoning. Without thinking, he bent down, and he pressed his lips to Frank’s helmeted head.It was only after he finished the gesture that he realized how completely wrong it was on various levels, and he stiffened.

One of the things that makes Daredevil a super hero and Frank an anti-hero is that Daredevil is never going to give up on Frank.
